This hand painted mural depicts a ponderosa pine forest overlooking mountains and a small lake. This is only a portion of the 22' wide X 12' high mural. It is the backdrop for a diorama containing an elk and plants native to ponderosa pine forests. This exhibit is located at the Wonders Of Wildlife Museum in Springfield, MO.

This mural was designed and painted by Mark Coe without input or supervision, while working as art director/muralist for Brees Studio. The completed diorama was a calibration of Design Craftsmen, Brees Studio and Cost of Wisconsin.
